In this lecture, Denise tells the story behind the making of the book Re-Aligning with Nature: Ecological Thinking for Radical Transformation.
Denise is Director and co-founder of BCI: Biomimicry for Creative Innovation, a vibrant network of unique innovators, professional change agents, and design professionals with a shared passion for radically transforming businesses and organizations to be in harmony with nature.
Denise is also co-founder of Vibrant OS, whose mission is to empower and equip leaders, and their teams, with principles and practices inspired by nature - and human nature - that transform the team’s fundamental way of operating while addressing immediate business issues.
Denise also teaches Biomimetic Design and Creative Leadership for MCAD’s Masters in Sustainable Design program. Denise was previously Project Lead for SwedishBiomimetics 3000 and Outreach Director for The Biomimicry Institute. Denise focuses her efforts on catalyzing natural human capacity for creativity, effective collaboration, and break-through innovation.
In addition to developing and teaching 2 masters level online courses, Denise has presented/facilitated dozens of lectures and workshops in biomimicry, business inspired by nature, and leadership. Denise is also author of the upcoming book Re-Aligning with Nature..
